These are the wines our team is drinking, loving and sharing with friends right now.
For February, we're raising our glasses to Oregon's 165th birthday with some of the wines that we think best represent the unique and beautiful place we live. Plus, we're cozying up for Valentine's Day with our favorite date night wines. We hope you'll join us....cheers!
Our Elemental Reserve is always a blend of our winemaker's favorite barrels from a particular vintage. While Oregon's unpredictable weather kept us on our toes in 2020, our luck held up thanks to the Van Duzer winds and we were able to produce wines that we think you'll love! Bright red fruit aromatics of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry meld nicely with a subtle sweetness of oak. The mouthfeel of the wine is simultaneously fresh and structured with a dense fine-grained tannin.
Think pink all month long with our estate Rosé. Perfect for Valentine's Day (or Galentine's Day) celebrations, impromptu date nights...or just because it's a Tuesday. Our 2022 Pinot Noir Rosé is overflowing with bright fruit aromatics of strawberry, peach, and citrus. The wine has a crisp and creamy mouthfeel that quickly gives way to a lingering mineral finish. This crisp, aromatic profile means it ellevates takeout and pairs perfectly with a home-cooked meal.
Estate grown on own-rooted and nearly 40-year old Pommard clone, the Homestead Block is one of the gems of our property. While we're used to all kinds of weather here in Oregon (4 seasons in one day...anyone?) 2020 was a year for the books. Thanks to the famous winds of our namesake Van Duzer Corridor we were able to make incredibly delicious wines that we can't wait to share with you.
