2017 HOMESTEAD BLOCK PINOT NOIR
The historic Homestead Block, planted in 1983 features own-rooted Pommard Clones that produce a rich and vibrant representation of our unique property in the Van Duzer Corridor.
The 2017 Homestead Block has enticing fragrances of dark red fruits consisting of dark Bing cherry and black currant meddling with floral scents of rose petals. Earthy notes of forest floor and ivy encompasses with spicy notes of licorice sticks, ground black pepper and cola-nutmeg conclude the bouquet.
Juicy on the entry, the wine transitions to a creamy mid palate laced around suede like tannins. The finish stages cherry cola and black currant flavors as well as mouthwatering notes at length.
