As we wait for the April showers to pass and warm weather to push us into bud break and the beginning of the 2019 growing season, we have put together a 3-pack special of delicious wines that our staff has been enjoying in anticipation of warm and sunny days.
The 2017 Pinot Blanc is the perfect versatile white wine for any occasion. The Pinot Blanc grapes come from the Bieze Vineyard site in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA northeast of our winery. The wine enlists the help of barrel fermentation as well as stainless steel to offer a delicate balance of creamy texture and striking minerality and brightness. Stone fruit and roasted almond aromas complement a lively palate with fresh, white peach flavors and a mineral-driven finish.
Once again, our 2016 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir shines as a great value representation of Willamette Valley wine. Bright aromas of fresh fruit mark the nose--strawberry, Bing cherry and red currant, intricately layered with rose petal, black tea, ground pepper, almond paste and graham cracker. This wine hits the right notes for Pinot Noir lovers as well as those just discovering our prized varietal.
The 2014 Bieze Vineyard Pinot Noir has hit a wonderful place in its bottle maturation. 5 years have allowed the fruit character to burst from the glass offering vibrant aromas of wild strawberry, juicy cherry, cranberry and red plum intertwined with rose petal, forest floor, and chamomile. This wine flexes its structure with lush red-fruit and soft tannins with a lengthy finish of brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla and crème brûlée.
